CBP hits record staffing level and seeks to grow to 25,000 agents with up to $60,000 hiring incentives

Customs and Border Protection says it has reached a record 21,471 agents, the highest in the agency’s history. CBP is pushing to expand to 25,000 and is advertising hiring incentives of up to $60,000 to boost recruiting and retention.
