Democrats introduce bill to protect federal workers’ credit scores during shutdowns

Sen. Mark Kelly and other Democrats introduced legislation aimed at preventing federal employees’ credit scores from being damaged when missed payments occur during government shutdown furloughs. The bill was prompted by TSA workers who reported long-lasting credit harm even after receiving back pay.
