GAO: Civil Service Cuts Have Reduced Oversight of Nuclear Material Security

A GAO report finds that oversight of nuclear material security has been scaled back because of reductions in the civil service workforce. GAO also reports that the National Nuclear Security Administration has lost more staff than it had recently gained through hiring.
