GAO: Few Complaints Don’t Prove Federal Buildings Meet Accessibility Standards; Urges GSA to Improve Reporting

GAO says the low number of accessibility complaints is not evidence that federal facilities meet required accessibility standards. The watchdog urged GSA to better publicize how employees and the public can report barriers and to strengthen oversight of accessibility compliance in federal buildings.
