GAO: VA Medical Facility Security Needs Action to Address Longstanding Risks

A GAO report finds longstanding security challenges at VA medical facilities and says VA needs to strengthen its risk assessment methodology and align risk management policies with interagency standards. GAO also recommends VA develop an oversight strategy to evaluate facility risk management programs and reduce security risks.
