House appropriators omit civilian federal pay raise from 2027 spending bill

A House committee appropriations bill for FY2027 does not include a civilian federal pay raise. While the bill is not final and could change during negotiations, the omission increases the risk that GS and other civilian employees may not receive a 2027 salary bump.
