House Republicans push NDAA-style “must-pass” process for VA policy bills

House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chair Mike Bost is seeking a new legislative strategy to package VA policy measures into a regular, “must-pass” authorization bill similar to the NDAA. The approach could streamline passage of VA reforms and increase the likelihood that VA-related policy changes become law each year.
