OPM Corrects RIF Final Rule to Restore ‘Displaced’ Definition Paragraphs

OPM issued a correction to its August 3, 2026 final rule updating reduction in force (RIF) regulations and related Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) rules. The correction restores two paragraphs that were inadvertently removed from the regulatory definition of “displaced.”
