OPM issued a final rule amending the governmentwide adjudicative processes used to determine suitability and take suitability actions. The changes aim to improve the efficiency, rigor, and timeliness of vetting for risks to the integrity and efficiency of the service, and clarify that serious misconduct by current federal employees can be addressed through the same suitability procedures.
