OPM Issues Direct Final Rule Updating Obsolete Civil Service Rules Under Executive Order 14410

OPM published a direct final rule to update and amend outdated provisions in the Civil Service Rules, following direction in Executive Order 14410 on implementing Schedule Policy/Career in the excepted service. OPM says the changes are largely technical and do not substantively affect agency operations.
