OPM Proposes Hazard Pay/Environmental Differential for Prescribed Wildland Fire Duties

OPM is proposing to treat prescribed (planned) wildland fire activities as covered duties that trigger Hazardous Duty Pay for GS employees and Environmental Differential Pay for FWS employees. The change would apply to employees serving on firefighting crews conducting fireline work to implement and control prescribed burns.
