OPM Proposes Hazard/Environmental Differential Pay for Prescribed Wildland Fire Duties

OPM is proposing to treat prescribed (planned) wildland fire activities as covered duties that trigger Hazardous Duty Pay for GS employees and Environmental Differential Pay for FWS employees. The change would apply to employees serving on firefighting crews working on the fireline during implementation and control of prescribed burns.
