OPM Proposes New Privacy Act Routine Use for General Personnel Records (OPM/GOVT-1) to Support Do Not Pay and Anti-Fraud Efforts

OPM is proposing to add a new routine use to its OPM/GOVT-1 General Personnel Records system under the Privacy Act. The change is intended to support Executive Order 14249 and OMB Memo M-25-32 by enabling data use/sharing to help prevent improper payments and protect against fraud, waste, and abuse while addressing privacy requirements.
