OPM Proposes Updated Privacy Act System of Records for Suitability Adjudications (OPM/Central-9)

OPM published a Federal Register notice proposing to modify and republish its Privacy Act system of records formerly covering both background investigations and suitability adjudications. The system would be renamed to “OPM/Central-9, OPM Suitability Adjudications Files” to reflect that background investigation records have been transferred elsewhere, clarifying how suitability adjudication records are maintained and used.
