Safeguard Veterans pilots new ways to connect Veterans to suicide prevention support

VA’s Safeguard Veterans initiative is testing and coordinating new approaches to ensure Veterans can quickly connect to suicide prevention care and support. The program focuses on making access easier regardless of where a Veteran first seeks help, helping streamline referrals and follow-up across VA and community touchpoints.
