Study finds ‘forever chemicals’ levels higher in younger veterans than general population

A study covering 2003–2018 found an estimated 13 million veterans had PFAS (“forever chemicals”) in their blood at levels above a National Academies threshold, with younger veterans showing higher levels than the general population.
