Union renews call for lawmakers to override Trump’s anti-union executive order at the Pentagon

A federal employee union is urging Congress to block implementation of President Trump’s executive order limiting collective bargaining at the Defense Department and other agencies. A similar provision passed the House in last year’s defense policy bill but was removed by the Senate, leaving the order in place unless lawmakers act again.
